Men's Issues E-mail

In this time of many changes within our society, many men are wondering where their place is in the world.  Over the last century and especially in the the last few decades,  models of what it means to be a man in our culture and in the media tend to be polarized.  One the one hand, men are characterized as heros and mavericks, physically dominating and emotionally detached.  At the other end of the spectrum, we have the weak man, the wimp, the wuss.  While there are certainly exceptions to this rule, many men find themselves in a double-bind.  They feel that to measure up to their peers they must be tough, successful, and competitive.  On the other hand, they are getting feedback from their friends and/or partners that they are emotionally unavailable and disconnected.

fathershandMuch has been written and promoted about men developing their feminine side.  And yet for many, this endeavor presents a crisis of identity:  How do I develop my 'feminine' qualities without losing my status as a man?  You may find yourself identifying with these questions in terms of your family and intimate relationships, anger management, or sexual difficulties.

It would be my privilege to assist you in exploring these and other struggles you may have as a man.  I believe in empowering men to live more authentically through discovering their own inner strength and truths while cultivating healthy and supportive relationships with their family, their peers, and co-workers.  Call me to find out more about how I can assist you in your journey or to schedule a free consultation session.
